Carl, in your attack on Hamas and "those who praised Hamas as 'the leader of the resistance'", 1)who on the left, are you referring to? 2) wasn't the name, "flood incursion" the name relating to "Al-Aqsa Flood" to symbolize their defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque?
PSL and Workers World are the staunch advocates for HAMAS. Yes, you're correct about where 'Flood' came from, but I called into question the wisdom of it, given the outcome. I'm not in the business of 'attacking' HAMAS. I've never supported them, but it's not my business to chose Palestinian leaders. I aim my main blow at the Likkud and its defenders.

Ha! Which DSA? No, I still work on their National Education Committee. But their chapters vary widely. Chicago is pretty good, but 4 out of the 6 national 'caucuses' are worse than the PL of our day. Socialist Majority Caucus is good. I'm not in any of the caucuses. I'm tight with Fletcher and the folks in Liberation Road. We'll have to see what can be rescued from DSA in larger 'left unity' efforts.
That's not my point. DSA is highly factionalized on top in six ways. Then chapters can vary widely. Some, like Chicago and NYC, are good or at least handle it well. Others are in neo-Trot cu-de-sacs going nowhere.

Does this mean you've given up on DSA?

Sorry, I didn't know there was more than 1 DSA.

Thanks.
